Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) consist of a suite of awards, including certificates, diplomas and a revised Certificate in Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification. It provides students with flexible entry points with certification awarded at each level, allowing students to tailor the awards, making them an attractive and relevant choice for employers. Diploma and Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) holders have direct entry to Skills level of the ACCA Professional Scheme.

Diploma in Accounting and Business
FTMSGlobal provides preparatory course for the Diploma in Accounting and Business, which is awarded on the completion of the exams Accountant in Business (FAB), Financial Accounting (FFA), Management Accounting (FMA) and Foundations in Professionalism.

Foundations in Professionalism is an online ethics module which can be completed before or after the exams but must be completed in order to receive certification for the award achieved.

The New Ethics and Professional Skills module focuses on developing the complete range of ethical and professional skills employers told us they need. This module replaces Professional Ethics Module from 31 October 2017. It is designed to increase your employability. It develops the full spectrum of advanced ethical and professional skills, exposing you to realistic business situations.

Membership
Students must apply for ACCA membership with ACCA UK to attempt examinations.

 Overview

The MBA programme has been developed to meet the needs of middle/senior managers and entrepreneurs in the running of businesses and to facilitate their progression to higher-level and more efficient roles within their organisation. Managers need to be aware of issues, able to analyse their potential outcomes and consequences and decide how to react.

Unique to the Anglia Ruskin’s MBA is the depth of emphasis on a strong, practical and professional orientation to the curriculum and learning styles. Applicants are required to satisfy all the following entry requirements:

   EITHER to hold a degree from a UK university, normally at a minimum of lower second class honours;

   OR to hold an academic or professional qualification which is equivalent in breadth and depth to a UK honours degree in accordance with the Academic Regulations. This may include a degree from a non-UK university;

   (for applicants whose first language is not English) to demonstrate certified proficiency in the English language of at least IELTS 6.5 (or its equivalent), unless they can provide satisfactory evidence that they have been taught and examined through the medium of English.

Students who are unable to secure IA will have to successfully complete a 3-months Research Project.

Standard PEI (Private Education Institution) – Student Contract


It is mandatory for all students signing for courses with any PEI in Singapore to sign a Standard PEI-Student Contract regardless of nationality or residential status in Singapore. The Contract is available for viewing on our website www. ftmsglobal.edu.sg. Students will be provided a personalised contract upon enrolment.


Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) - Insurance Coverage


It is mandatory that all students’ course fee is protected by FPS. Until further notice, FTMSGlobal Academy students’ enjoy free insurance coverage as insurance premium is paid for by FTMSGlobal Academy. The insurance coverage is provided by insurance provider.

All students are also encouraged to visit the Committee for Private Education website at www.cpe.gov.sg to know more about Fee Protection Scheme.


Medical Insurance Coverage
